I've been (mostly) lurking the forums since I joined a month ago, just reading up a learning a lot. If there's one thing I've noticed in this time, it's all the complaints about how little us sellers have to protect us on the site. What gets me more is that apparently it used to be worse, too? That's kind of troubling; I certainly hope that as time passes we get more protections to prevent buyers abusing the system.
Kind of makes me just picture buyers dangling ratings on strings and all of us scrabbling to get the best ones in order to preserve our ability to sell better gigs and such that come with levels. Eh, I don't really know where I was going with this, just wanted to get this off of my chest.
edit!: I'm also noticing a trend of complaining about people trying to scam others on the site. Honestly, with a name like fiverr, what do you expect? People are always trying to extort people for better deals on things they want to get, and when you throw money into the mix it's like a melting pot of greed. The things money makes people do, I swear. We'd all be better off in the world if people treated their fellow humans with some measure of dignity and respect.
