3 of my recent gig purchases have bombed. I don't get it.
One of them already had a few late/cancelled reviews, so I knew I was taking a chance. But there were some recent favorable reviews too. I was tolerant for 3 days of lateness, but after I sent a message checking if they were at least working on my gig, I never got a reply.
A different one cancelled on me today, with a really rude note. The gig was for a marketing plan. As per the gig's request for info, I provided a brief explanation of what I do. Out of the blue, the seller sends me an irate message about how I'm expecting something that should cost thousands of dollars, yada yada. WTH? I never said anything about my expectations, and quite honestly wasn't expecting much for $5. I did NOT expect a rude message though.
What does a buyer do here? Sure, we get a refund for our $5, but I've lost several days on each of these. That's uncool! Do others have a lot of sellers cancelling gigs?
