Do 'Tip Gigs' work?

Hello guys & gals,

I've noticed that quite a lot of sellers make use of 'Tip Gigs'. I personally think a tip button - placed nicely in front of the buyer when they click the link that tells them their gig has been delivered - would be a better option, but since that's not an option yet, tip gigs look like they're here to stay.

Being from the UK, I find it a bit strange asking for my buyers to leave a tip as it's not really the done thing in the UK - or is it? I've been away from the UK since the turn of the millennium you see, therefore I might be a bit out of sorts.

If you provide a tip gig, can you give us all some advice on how you go about redirecting your buyers to it?

Do you simply leave the following line in the delivery of a gig message:

Hi,

Check out your new XXXXXXXXXX.

I really hope you like it as I've worked really hard on delivering it to you.
