Ok, if you don't like negative comments or feedback, then don't read anymore of this, coz what I have to say is not nice
Today is January 17, 2013. I used this site for the first (and last) time) 3 days ago. I am a buyer who purchased a software program from a seller on here who goes by the name of "fragglesrock" [Sheriff's note: no call outs] The software actually sells from the creator for almost 100 dollars USD. During a Google search I saw this Fiverr seller advertising this same software for 5 bucks. I should have been more cognizant than i was but at the time I thought it would be great to save a lot of money and buy from this Fiverr seller. In hindsite though, how could someone be selling products that normally cost 100 dollars originally, on Fiverr for 5 dollars. Sounds very fishy to me now!
I have not received the software and I cancelled my order with him. The Fiverr support is a joke I think. They have done nothing to find out why the guy didn't send me the software. They just said the order was very late and issued me the offer to cancel which I did before posting this here. Now I learn I can't even get my 5 bucks back. It goes into a credit account here on this site. What a joke!. .I'm never going to use Fiverr for anything again, so they've essentially made 5 bucks for no service rendered. Five dollars may not be a lot of money, but that isn't the point here is it?! How many other people over time have gone through this same situation or similar situation as I have and decided not to bother with Fiverr again? Hmmmm....That's a lot of free money to the administrators of this site. To me it's a scam, plain and simple.
I don't care about TOS that is on this site. How many people ever read it anyway? The fact remains when you spend money for a service, and don't get what you paid for, you should be able to get your money back in the same manner you paid for the service, and not have it kept for your future use at the site's discretion. The owners and administrators of this site know this very well too, but they will continue this practice until there are enough complaints, that they will be forced to change their policy or incur legal action against them. I have read many complaints from unhappy and dissatisfied users of this site in the past 2 days. I am really surprised that Fiverr has stayed online and gained the reputation it has for so long.
As for "fragglesrock" this guy has been a seller on this site for 3 years apparently with a 98 percent rating, which I assume is very good and makes him seem totally reliable. His delivery time says 2 hours!! That's baloney and I am here as proof. I ordered something from him he doesn't even have to create. All he had to do was send me a download link for the software. How long should that take?! About 20 seconds or less probably. All this guy does is sell software packages. Apparently he does not create anything, so there should be no excuse why he can't deliver what he says he has to offer. In my opinion, he is a scammer here on Fiverr. How he has managed to get away with this for so long, I have no idea. I am here to tell you to BEWARE of him. DON'T order from him.
As for Fiverr, your administration of this site sucks. It leaves a lot to be desired in my opinion. I have lost 5 dollars to you that I will never get back. I do NOT plan to ever use this site for anything again. My loss is your gain Fiverr!!
