One typo results in a bad feedback, fair rating?
So, recently. I got an order from a client that has ordered numerous other articles in the past and left positive feedback. Get this. I got a negative feedback because I made a "typo". He didn't ask for re-writes, he didn't ask for a refund and over a month later, he left the bad feedback. I contacted him about this, and his reasoning was to show an "honest" feedback of the gig which considering he's the only bad feedback I have gotten in two years, I don't find it all that honest. Although at the time I didn't know this, he later stated the word that I made a "typo" of and the case was not of a misspelling, but rather. In different countries the word is spelled slightly different. Due to this he feels it was justified and proper feedback. In my opinion I find it kind of offensive to know that buyers are capable of doing such a thing. I do wish at times like this I can actually warn people of these particular buyers but I know it's against the rules to call out their names here on the forum.
What's your opinion on this?
Do you think it's fair to be stuck with a negative feedback(That he's changed more than once.) despite the fact that it was over one individual word?
